Application Process
Each IOP class consists of approximately thirty to thirty-five fellows who are selected each year by a committee composed of board members and the executive director. The selection process involves both a written application and a personal interview.

Evaluation
Criteria for acceptance include such qualities as leadership potential and political motivation. Although selection necessarily involves some subjective judgment on the part of the selection committee, every precaution is taken to ensure that the merits of each applicant are fully considered.
The race, sex, or political affiliation of an applicant has zero bearing on his or her eligibility or acceptance.
Past Fellows
The professional backgrounds of past Fellows have included law, engineering, architecture, journalism, communications, public relations, community organization, financial planning, government service, and university teaching.
Tuition
Tuition is $1,000.00 for Private Sector Applicants & $850 for Not-for-Profit/Government Employees

General Information
Each week's sessions are held on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm on Loyola's main campus from early October through the end of March. There are typically 18-20 sessions held each year.
