Jordan Ginsberg

Jordan Ginsberg has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Louisiana since 2009.  He is Chief of the Office’s Public Corruption Unit, as well as the Monetary Penalties and Recovery Unit (MPRU).  He specializes in the prosecution of public corruption matters and other complex white-collar crimes, including cybercrimes, health care fraud, and child exploitation and trafficking.  Mr. Ginsberg has successfully charged and convicted numerous federal, state, and local public officials.  He has tried approximately 12 federal criminal matters, including the corruption prosecution of a thirty-year District Attorney and the first juvenile sex trafficking matter tried in the Eastern District of Louisiana.  He has also argued before the Fifth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.  Mr. Ginsberg has spoken at conferences nationally and internationally on a variety of topics, including public corruption and cybercrimes.  Jordan is an Associate Professor at Tulane University Law School and an Adjunct Professor at Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. He graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University in 2001 and from the University of Chicago Law school with honors in 2004.  Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Jordan served as a law clerk in the Northern District of Illinois for the Honorable Mark Filip and an associate at Sidley Austin LLP.
